“Our wedding day was perfect”
Our Wedding Day at Northorpe Barn was perfect.
We took the ‘Prep and Party’ option so we were able to decorate the barn ourselves the day before and have a lovely afternoon tea.
The venue is fabulous in its own right so really doesn’t need much decoration. Whilst decorating and on our wedding day nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
Sam was amazing, she took detailed notes in the run up to make sure our day ran smoothly which it did and was more than happy to fulfil personalised requests for food/drinks.

“I’m so pleased we chose the northorope barn”
I’m so pleased we chose The Northorpe Barn as our wedding venue. On top of it being such a beautiful place, the fact that proceeds from their events support charity work really set this place apart from anywhere else we considered. Of all the things that go in to planning a wedding, I never would have expected that organising the venue would be the simplest. Their detailed brochure makes it easy to start to piece together the options for your day, and from our first meeting Sam was more than accommodating when it came to incorporating personalised options into our choices (including making sure the bar was stocked with my wife’s choice of beer!). By making sure every detail had been considered in advance of the wedding, Sam was able to organise the flow of the day perfectly so that we could just relax and enjoy ourselves. Nothing was too much trouble for the team, any time we needed something they were on hand immediately and their experience hosting events really shone through. We can’t thank you enough for helping us put together the most perfect day.

We had our night do celebration at Northorpe and I would highly recommend the hall for anyone looking for a stunning wedding venue.
The staff were amazing and accommodated all our needs Caroline was fabulous from beginning to end, she put up with my endless email and questions she made me feel at ease the whole way through organising our evening celebration.
Sam Caroline and the team were fabulous on the evening couldn’t do enough for us even to collecting our stuff the next day made it as stress free as possible, The venue was beautiful even without the decorations we added, a wonderful evening and great party the food was bloody lovely too so glad we went for the hog roast!
You won’t regret using Northorpe Barn as your wedding venue.

Thank you so much to Caroline, Sam and everyone at The Northorpe Barn for making our day the best. From the minute we came to look round in 2021 we knew it was the perfect place to say I do. You all really were the best and we can’t thank you enough.
We had a fantastic day on 23rd, best day of our lives. Everyone at Northorpe was amazing and I don’t think I can put into words how much you made our day perfect.

The venue was beautiful and the food was amazing! Our friends and family have said that it was the perfect venue with the right balance of classy and cosy.

Our day at Northorpe Barn exceeded our expectations in every way. Such a stunning, relaxed and intimate venue that just felt 100% right for us. Everything was perfect. Thank you for all your help booking and organising our day and being so laid back and easily approachable. It meant we had absolutely no stresses on the run up or on the day of the wedding.
No words could express our gratitude so just thank you thank you for absolutely everything.

Sam, there really is not enough words we could say to thank you. We’re so grateful for the small things like making sure we was fed and watered when we looked like we couldn’t possibly have one more photograph and just recognising when you knew we needed something was there in a flash.

“Our day couldn’t have gone better”
This review won’t completely communicate just how happy we were with the first-rate service provided by the team at Northorpe Barn. We selected the venue largely because of the financial support it offers to Northorpe Hall Trust, and also because we’d first seen how beautiful the barn was at a gig back in 2017.
We’re extremely pleased we selected Northorpe Barn as we feel our day couldn’t have gone any better, thanks to Caroline, Sam, and all the staff who helped the day go so smoothly. In the run up to our wedding, both Sam and Caroline were happy to answer any questions we had, and our meetings with them always made us feel reassured that everything was in hand. We were right. They handled everything from start to finish brilliantly. Leaving us to enjoy the day with family and friends.
The Prep and Party prior to our wedding day was really useful, as it gave us the opportunity to set up the venue as we wanted. The lunch provided was also very tasty!
The food for our wedding day was also first rate. We selected the hog roast and an evening buffet, and both meals were delicious. There was no issue catering for everyone’s dietary requirements and guests were also happy with a very well stocked bar!
It was lovely to hear our guests on the day, and after, tell us how beautiful the venue was and how friendly the staff were. There’s definitely a warm and welcoming atmosphere at Northorpe Barn that I don’t think you’d find in other venues.
We couldn’t recommend Northorpe Barn more highly. Thank you Sam and Caroline for helping to make our day so very special.
