Our Volunteers recently enjoyed a lovely evening of Self Care here at Northorpe Hall. We spent some time exploring mindfulness, reflection and shared some techniques to help us manage the day to day demands on our time. Clearly enjoyed by all, the feedback included:
“I enjoyed the session very much, I feel relaxed and will be able to pass on what I’ve learned tonight”
“Lots to think about and help to realise how important it is to look after yourself”
All of the Volunteers left with a little ‘Bag of mindfulness’, and hopefully feeling a bit more relaxed and in tune with the world – as one Volunteer said “feels like I have given my brain a holiday”.
