Be Involved

You could be a mentor for a young person - being a positive adult in their lives, someone to talk to, a role model and another perspective on life.  Mentors should be able to offer stable, reliable and positive interaction with young people, at least a couple of times every month for a year.  They should be able to form a friendly, trusting relationship with a young person needing support.

For those with a Counselling Diploma looking to volunteer, we offer expenses and a contribution towards supervision costs. There may be other volunteering opportunities at Northorpe Hall Trust, too, so if you are looking for some voluntary work or would like more information, please contact us.

There may also be volunteer opportunities for those wanting to help with catering and refreshments, keeping the gardens and building tidy and cosy, and for help raising funds or encouraging  people to come and use rooms.
